Bret started playing guitar in junior high school after playing drums for a bit. He has since played as one half of The Bogarts, while stationed in Ankara, Turkey with the U.S. Air Force, performing at the Casablanca bar and numerous private events.

Bret has performed at such places as Gloria’s Cafe and Bakery and Black Sugar Coffee in Cedar Park, Black Star Co-op Pub & Brewery, Russell’s Bakery, and other small venues in Austin and the surrounding area. He has also had lead roles in Damn Yankees, 1776, and Catch Me If You Can at the Georgetown Palace Theater, and he was guest DJ on SiriusXM’s Radio Margaritaville in October 2025. Bret relocated to San Antonio in November 2024. He is available for public and private events. Please reach out for booking here.
